Scholarship Award Ceremony 2025

On July 11, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.,

Phra Maha Atthit Amaro, District Ecclesiastical Head of Yannawa Subdistrict, Abbot of Wat Thong Bon, and Head of Wat Thong Bon Dhamma School, graciously awarded educational scholarships to three monks and novices who successfully passed the 2025 Pali Studies Examination (Sanam Luang System):

1. Phra Maha Phuttria Silarakkhito (Som) — Passed Pali Level 4 (Parian 4)

2. Phra Maha Thawee Yansuddho (Harnchana) — Passed Pali Level 3 (Parian 3)

3. Phra Achito Achito (Boonrod) — Passed Pali Levels 1–2 (Parian 1–2)

The following three monks successfully passed the 2024 (B.E. 2567) Dhamma Studies Examination (Sanam Luang System):

1. Phra Lueansang Indachakko (Khamsaeng) — Passed the highest level: Nak Thamm Ek (Advanced Dhamma Level)

2. Phra Phorntep Tikkhapanyo (Sae Khu) — Passed the intermediate level: Nak Thamm Tho (Intermediate Dhamma Level)

3. Phra Wanakorn Abhipuñño (Kaewkinee) — Passed the basic level: Nak Thamm Tri (Basic Dhamma Level)

Three monks who have successfully completed their Bachelor's degree programs are as follows:

1. Phra Maha Narong Nākavaro – Faculty of Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University

2. Phra Maha Waraseth Waranjayo – Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Ramkhamhaeng University

3. Phra Maha Praphon Warayanaviro – Faculty of Social Sciences, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University

Certificates were awarded to 75 individuals who passed the Elementary Level Dhamma Examination (Nak Tham Tri) and to 1 individual who passed the Intermediate Level Dhamma Study Examination (Nak Tham Tho). Additionally, a support grant of 10,000 baht was presented to the Yannawa Elderly School. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Ms. Warunlak Polhan, Director of the Yannawa District Office, who served as the lay representative co-chair at the multipurpose hall of Wat Thong Bon.
